It seems Etisalat have decided to lessen their strict restrictions on the use of their BlackBerry BIS on Non-Blackberry devices.

I will quickly take you through the process on how to set it up yourself.

Please observe these steps to set it up.

>>Subscribe to any Etisalat blackberry plan by dialing:

*499*3# for N1,000 – Monthly
*499*3*1# (N500) – Weekly

FOR PC

1. Set your ACCESS POINT NAME (APN) to blackberry.net

2. Simply Configure your Browsers and Softwares to
10.71.170.5 Port 8080

FOR ANDROID

Set your APN to blackberry.net

PROXY: 10.71.170.5

PORT: 8080

NOTE: All etisalat BIS plans are 3GB except their daily plan which is 50MB
